Dunrobin Preparatory, owned by the Associated Gospel Assemblies is located at 15 Dunrobin Avenue, and stands as a symbol of hope in a society of declining values and attitudes.
Head stewardship of the school was first entrusted to Miss Enid Davis who served for eight years. Her successor, Ms Ursula Watson held the position of principal for eighteen years and the baton was passed to Miss Alona O’Brien who headed the school until her retirement in August 2000 when it was passed on to Mrs. Sharon Burrell. Currently acting in the capacity of principal is Mrs. Karren Goulbourne.
The school offers a curriculum which consists of the core subjects as well as Information Technology, Music, Visual Arts, Spanish and Physical Education. Extra curricular activities include dancing, swimming and clubs including Brownies and Builders Club.
Dunrobin Prep has honed and nurtured the skills and talents of many Jamaicans who today are serving in the fields of Medicine, Education and Law to name a few. Over the years the school has distinguished itself in the performing arts, receiving medals for speech, dance and music at the J.C.D.C Festival Competition. Our netball team has performed outstandingly in the Jamaica Independent Schools Netball Competition, placing among the top three for 7 consecutive years and being champions in 2001 – 2002. Academically our students have done and continue to do well with some achieving very high standards. The school has three Government Scholarships to its credit, one as recent as June 2005.
Dunrobin Prep is a potent, viable Christian legacy left to Jamaica’s Education system by the late Albert Temeir Karram. With the help of our heavenly father, hard work and dedication we continue to strive for excellence.
 Academic Excellence – Honour Roll
We believe that all students can learn and achieve academic excellence. As such we expect a high stand of performance from all our students.
As a mean of encouraging and motivating our students to strive for the best we have implemented a Honour Roll system that recognizes our students’ achievements. This system has been producing excellent results and our students are constantly aiming to be on the ‘Honour Roll’ A student must attain an average of 90 and over to be placed on the Honour Roll.
Prize-giving and Graduation
Our Annual Prize-giving and Graduation function takes place at the end of the Summer Term usually in the first week of July. It is a time when students beam with pride as they are recognised for their performance throughout the year. It is an exciting occasion for our Graduates as they look forward to leaving the confines of Prep School and begin attending High School.
